Meet Chandni Kantaria

Chandni is a settler migrant, hailing from Kenya. She has worked as a paramedic for more than a decade, collected a number (4.5) of degrees, presented her knowledge at conferences – both in Australia and overseas and is living in the beautiful chaos of raising 3 beautiful humans.

Chandni loves learning and hopes that she can pass that passion onto others. Recently beginning a Narrative Therapy master’s has led her to consider the strength stories that people have, and how the dominant discourses shape perceptions of themselves. Chandni challenges social constructs and hopes that she can teach anti-racism and the importance of inclusive leadership - particularly in Healthcare in a way that is unique and compassionate.

Known for an encouraging and inquisitive teaching style, Chandni believes learning happens in the WHELM - when the learner is feeling challenged and supported. Storytelling is the perfect means for this, and allows for space, grace and growth.

Qualifications: Master's Degree Counselling, Bachelor of Sci. (Biomedical Sci.), Bachelor's Degree Health Sci./Allied Health Sci., Bachelor's Degree Physician Assistant, Cert. Leading Diverse Teams & Organisations, Cert. Diversity & Inclusion in the Workplace.
